About the Founder

Welcome to SoCal Patient Advocacy, where patient advocacy meets expert healthcare management. Kari is a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in hospice care, healthcare business development, and patient advocacy. With over 20 years of experience in healthcare, she has had the privilege of guiding patients and their families through some of life’s most challenging moments, ensuring they receive the compassionate and personalized care they deserve.

Kari is a member of the American Nurses Association (ANA), Association of Public Health Nurses (APHN), Hospice & Palliative Nurses Association (HPNA), the International Association on Near-Death Studies (IANDS), and the American Red Cross. She has worked in tandem with other patient advocates to coordinate Medical Aid in Dying for qualified terminal individuals.  As a Licensed Public Health Nurse (PHN), a Certified Hospice & Palliative Nurse (CHPN), and a proud advocate for patient rights, 

She is passionate about bridging the gap between clinical care and patient empowerment.
