Welcome to SoCal Patient Advocacy, where patient advocacy meets expert healthcare management. I’m Kari, a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in hospice care, healthcare business development, and patient advocacy. With over 15 years of experience in healthcare, I’ve had the privilege of guiding patients and their families through some of life’s most challenging moments, ensuring they receive the compassionate and personalized care they deserve.

I am a member of the American Nurses Association (ANA), Association of Public Health Nurses (APHN), Hospice & Palliative Nurses Association (HPNA), and the International Association on Near Death Studies (IANDS), and am a clinical volunteer for the Disaster Recovery Team of the American Red Cross. I have worked in tandem with other advocates to coordinate Medical Aid in Dying for qualified terminal patients.  As a Licensed Public Health Nurse (PHN), a Certified Hospice & Palliative Nurse (CHPN), and a proud advocate for patient rights, I’m passionate about bridging the gap between clinical care and patient empowerment.
